While we were planning new rooms, cleaning out old rooms, getting all packed up, and climbing the rails for our projects to be finished...
We had to move out of our house.... thus, the East Dallas Weinsteins began a stint living out of suitcases, living away from our home, and living with our family....aka living in exile.
For our first leg, we shacked up with Mimi and Pops...and guess who was also living with them for the same time period: Rebekka, Molly, Ross, and soon-to-be Poppy!
Much fun was had with our family, including hot tubbing, playgrounding, bathtimes, New Years Eve countdowns, playing, reading, relaxing, meeting up with the Houston Weinsteins, and more!
We had so much fun that we hardly noticed we were away from home.
There were hot tub days in the cold, cold December weather...
Chess matches, bed head, and sharing music....
Daytrips and outings and outing dancings...
Playing at home, in and out of suitcases...and boxes...
A trip to Grapevine/Christmas town to see Addison, Autumn, Uncle Taff and Aunt April...
...and even more time for snuggles, games, wrestling, and playing...
On a warmed-up New Years Eve, Uncle Ross, Pops, and I took y'all to the playground for a memorable trip that included us hitting baseballs, y'all playing soccer, Juila and Pops picking hunting for and sorting bottle caps (Heineken won!), gathering sticks, and finding a surprising number of marbles.
On a cheesy Fondue Year's Eve, we dined together, had 2 or 3 countdowns and kissed as we rang in 2019!
There was time for more song sharing, game playing, and playing dress up...before we had to say "see you later" to Molly (and her parents) and "meet you soon" to Poppy.
Maybe we'll leave home again soon to spend more quality time with our family!
