Wow...what an AWESOME, relaxing, fun-filled, family-tastic Thanksgiving break!
A trip to the Zoo's "Zoo lights" to celebrate Yaya's birthday! I'll never forget how the mama hippo - after being tested several, several times by her baby- just pooped directly into the baby's open mouth. Yay, ZOO!
I had to work from home for a little bit of one day, and the two of you drew me pictures and made me notes to make me smile.
So, after work, I took y'all to the library, and on a hike through our woods!
Mommy and I went on a date!
Then we went on a drawing-filled, duck-and-turkey-stuffed visit to Sulphur Springs for Thanksgiving celebration with Gigi, Aunt Nessa, Uncle Phil, Aunt Chrissy, Werner, your cousins (Tristan and Kinsely), Mimi, Pops, Shamsy, Joe, Yaya, Baba and...wait...I think that's it.
I'll never forget how much you got along with little Kinsely, Aidan. And how you, Julia, did not like losing at Uno to Tristan due to "Austin Rules."
Then, we filled the break up with playdates with your pals! Aidan, you hung with Daniel; Julia, you hung with Ellie!
On a brisk sunny day, we took Mommy up to Starbucks and the to our new favorite spot: the Spillway at White Rock Lake:
Before we knew it, we were back to school- and work - and lunches. But some of that "Frozen II" spirit kept us all warm, as we basked in the glow of a much-needed break!
