Pointing, Walking, Teething

Julia,

You are an amazing, hilarious, and pretty courageous little girl.

You're using these skills to charm all of us, try new things and wow us all in the same go.

First of all, your two front teeth have come in. But I can't get a good picture of them, because you're moving too much.

While you're on the move, you're getting into trouble. We've had to permanently relocate the dog's water bowl and food bowls when you're on the move, since you seem determined to get in them.

We had to block the staircase, since you're determined to climb up them.

But, the rest of the house is yours to explore at your own will, and you take advantage.

You quickly crawl everywhere!

And you're even now working on walking. You took 3 steps the other day!

But, sometimes you're too clever and just want to move. We call this 'cheating.'

Lately you've also been communicating a lot nonverbally. You scrunch down your eyebrows when you're mad or when you don't get your way. And when you want something, you point!

One thing that we don't need to point out, however, is that we love you through and through, whether you're on the go or crashed for the night. While you're learning to use your toes, you're certainly keeping us on ours.
