For the first Saturday in a long while, we didn't have gym and we didn't have karate. Now don't get me wrong, Julia, I cherished every daddy and daughter gym class Saturday we had together and I know you did to. This morning you knew that it was Saturday without being told and you knew where you and I were supposed to go. At about the time we would have left for gym you came and found me and said 'go kick ball with daddy!' I told you we weren't going today. (You now go to a different class more suited to your interests on Tuesdays). You got sad and front and almost started to cry. I gave you a big hug and told you that we would still e hanging out...all day! And that we were going to have our first Saturday adventure!
You were psyched. Aidan was psyched. And what an adventure we had!
We went to White Rock Lake and threw rocks on the lake, watched an old man working on his freshly caught catfish, chased each other, saw cool trees and bugs and bikes and flowers.
And at the playground we (with permission) crashed someone's birthday party bounce house, pony ride, and petting zoo.
Saturday adventure!
