Christmas is Coming 2017

Christmas is coming, and the zoo is where it's at!

Pleased to see the pretty lights..

...eat sugar treats...

...and get grouched at by a puppet in a big top hat!

Christmas is coming, and lists are getting made...
Dear Santa...

...Squishy Turtle." - Aidan

"Dear Santa. I have been a good girl. I would like really a Barbie Fashion Book, Makeup Kit, Strawberry Short Cake, Erasable Pens, Shimmer and Shine, Dream catcher, Moana Locket...", and something else... by Julia

Time to talk to Santa about the North Pole, where gifts are made!

Christmas is coming, and the house is looking slick...

It's so nice to play together, regardless of Saint Nick.

Christmas is coming, let's go see the Ballet!

Rats with swords and in-door snow...

...Now thats' a helluva play!

Christmas is coming, with global warming perks...

time to play outside all day...

...and learn how lipstick works!

Christmas is coming, we're prepping for the cold!

Farmer's market, popsicles, and photo booth gold!

If you can learn the words to Frosty and Rudolph quick,

Then make a card, and climb aboard...

To caroling for a bit!

In other news: the GRINCH became a big hit this lead-up to Christmas, drawing hours of airplay and playing with hours of drawing.

Also, my rendition of the perennially annoying "I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" was- and continues to be- a source of levity, imitation, musical inspiration, and hilarious dance moves.

In other news: STAR WARS!

Sarasponda and Adios Mi Amigo! Serenading '16

We've been hearing you guys singing and practicing two songs in particular for months now. You sing them in the car, you hum them while playing in your rooms, you overtly practice the moves.

Adios Mi Amigo- sounds sweet! Adorable!

Sarasponda- sounds like such a fun song! We had NO CLUE what language this was in. But with the beginning of rhythmic "boonda boondas" we couldn't resist it.

With these exclusive sneak peeks, we just couldn't wait to see the actual show!

So, in late December, right before your holiday break, you guys got all dressed up and ready for the stage!

The concert was amazing! You two did so well, and we are so very proud of you! Check it out!

Mimi, Pops, Yaya, Baba, Mommy, and Me are so proud of you little singing stars!

This was such a great concert! There was no famous 'ribbit'- no poison oak groin scratching during the concert. There were, however, a few memorable moments: an elderly woman tripped over my leg and fell to the ground! I felt so bad and sat with her until she was able to get up. Your friend Baz screamed the songs loudly and proudly! And it looks like you, Aidan, might have thwapped Wells in the head a few times- gently- during the songs. But, you did say afterwards that there was no room to do the moves you'd been practicing. Miss Mary told us that you, Julia, needed to be front and center, since you had mastered all the moves!

You both sang and danced awesomely! A memorable night, and memorable songs from you awesome kiddos and your class.

Boonda Boonda!
