Your First Halloween: Monkeying Around Town

We've been having so much fun that I almost forgot to tell you about your first Halloween!

Well, you were a monkey. But not just any monkey. The cutest darn monkey ever!



Even though you can't eat candy, we decided that you still needed to go trick-or-treating. So we decided to see if we could get a couple of suckers to give us a couple of suckers. First up, we went trick-or-treating at Mimi and Pops' house. They were super excited to see you, but they didn't give us a sucker...they got us a king size Butterfinger!




Then we took you Trick-or-Treating to Grandma and Baba's house. They thought you were the cutest monkey in the world too! I think we just got some Tootsie Rolls there.


But, of course, Halloween isn't all about the candy. It's about dressing up and having fun. No, just kidding. It's about dressing up and getting candy; fun may be a biproduct of the sugar-high. But since you can't have candy yet, I think you still had a fun time, playing on the floors of your grandparents' houses in costume and making other people happy thanks to your cute costume and smile!

Oh, and by the way, you won second place in a costume contest at Bye Bye Baby! You won a giant picture of yourself!
