These seem to happen every year now... and I love it! This year was mostly ice...which meant really good ice-building blocks for castles and GREAT fast sledding ... and as always... lots of stew!
We love getting snowed in and getting out in the snow with you both!
This year, the oven broke, so we improvised and made cornbread with the waffle maker!
We also took the snowed-in opportunity to teach you a new-to-you board game... Settlers of Catan!
So many memories! Only one kid almost sledding into traffic. Freeze-face hot tubbing; walks in the woods; cold kitties; lots of movies. Small, intimate family time only. And lots of warm hugs :)
It kind of is the best...now if only the internet would have gone out as well... but we still want power and heat...just no internet :)
