The Magicians

One of my toy-vendor neighbors at the office was getting rid of some magic kits.

I brought one home for y'all.

It was sitting on the counter on a Saturday morning when you found it and curiously looked at it Julia.

The intrigue was enough to make the Nintendo Switch switch off for you Aidan.

We looked through the box and learned some of the tricks in our PJs over breakfast.

You guys were enthralled.

Then you disappeared Julia (not for real; you went upstairs). You reappeared like this:

Then you disappeared, Aidan, and reappeared thusly:

After learning more tricks, Julia you and your assistant disappeared upstairs yet again and re-emerged to let us know that we were invited to a MAGIC SHOW!

Then...swimming, lunch, and errands happened. SURPRISE!

But...then... we got home, and saw the stage at the Purple Curtain Theater was all set for a brother-sister-magic act!

It. Was. Incredible.

Any Saturday with both of you is magic. This one was particularly magical!

Rainy Day Arts and Crafts

One rainy September day as Aidan and Mommy worked on sewing up his patient...

Julia treated her patient...

Aidan's patient was all set!

Aidan, you made this Baby Groot all by yourself!

But then Aidan got sick and sought treatment..

He got better! But then she got worse! What a twist!

Julia made some beautiful pictures.

Then, the rain let up a little, and Mommy and the kids made wands out of mulberry branches.

Magic wands!

We gotta get out of here! Let's go to the Museum and see the pumpkin exhibit!

Ooooh... pumpkiny!

They spent the rest of the afternoon in the museum...with amazing results.
